Apparently the Blues want a PP QB so maybe it’s Barrie. However, that would be a nonsensical move considering the cost we would have to pay inside the division to acquire a guy who’d be on the 3rd pair here. I’ll be so mad if the Blues burn assets on a quarterback when they’ve got Vince Dunn on a 38 point pace playing 17 minutes a game and making no money.

I would also prefer to keep Varlamov as we are currently in a playoff spot. Also, Allen has negative value because of his contract so you would have to give up more anyway.

Seeing 2 scouts from STL’s list for that game was pretty curious. If it’s Barrie, Colorado is probably going to want a young roster forward, but I’m not sure STL wants to give that up.

I didn't say we need a PP QB our PP is doing fine. Toronto shut it down because it's Toronto.
