Hard pass from Edmonton... I can only imagine that they'd be extra careful with Puljujarvi now... after seeing how the Strome-Schmaltz trade has worked out for Chicago. If they're trading him, it'll be for a lot more than Brown.

The only way Marleau even considers retirement is if the Leafs win the cup this year... which, let's be honest, isn't all that likely.

I doubt they would be offered much more. They are in hard situation. Brown is perfect target for them. They would ask for more but Puljujarvi's stock is extremely low..

If the return isn't good for them, they should hang on to him.. he'll come around. Chirelii just made the mistake of rushing him.

The think is.. he wont be any good on Oilers.. too much pressure on his part there. Change of scenery would help imo. But I dont know what happens next year..

Sammy, hope you're right about Marleau....and that seems a reasonable sweetener. Puju trade seems about right too. But that Calgary meal Just one year of Hamonic and just a year of the very meh Czarnik, is an underpayment for Kapanen.
