Description

The plan here is to trade backes in the summer after paying his bonuses and re-sign stone.

In terms of the lineup, cehlarik and debrusk can swap, kuhlman and backes can swap, doesnt matter to me.

This wouldnt beat any offer.. 1st and/or DeBrusk would be included.

Probably not. Ottawa still deoesnt have a first rounder for this year, so a first round pick needs to come back

Max I would give him is jfk and a 2nd. If sweeney can get him for zboril and a 2nd thats even better

Backes is getting paid a total of 8mil for the next two years. His salary for the first year is 3mil signing bonus (boston can easily pay that) and his base salary is 1mil. In the second year his total salary is 4mil. That means, if boston pays him his bonus, then backes is only getting paid a total of 5mil for the next 2 years and therefore it will be far more easier getting rid of that contract
