I know that Lucic has been **** in the NHL this season, but couple of years ago he was just a freaking GOAT. Can Krejci sparkle him up again? Maybe get rid of Milan or backes after the season.

Well indeed they are different kind of players I dont see Lucic being good with either of those. If you would get rid of Backes contract the other way I would try it but otherwise nah.

Edmonton would give you picks and prospects to take him. Boston could have him for a 7th

The game is to fast for Lucic now. He was a great player and fun to watch, but he is not fit for this new NHL. At least not at his contract. He is fine on the 3rd or 4th line, but not at $6 million per year.

Even with half of is salary retained by EDM, you'll have close to no cap space considering that McAvoy, Carlo and even Chara needs new deals.
