I think you are missing the term you get with these two. Unless they find a way to move Backes I can't see how they can afford to resign Stone.

Not still, you just total moved the goal posts there. Stone is for one playoff drive. Those two get you three. Woods with elite size and speed combo and Palmieri is the 2nd line RW Boston needs. They would still have issues with fitting under the cap with those two, there you would at least have an argument. They can't all be 1st line players, depth and speed is the name of the game in this NHL.

I’m not saying those guys aren’t good players, but this trade is horrible

Do you ever have a constructive conversation on here or are you here just to tell everyone how much better your opinion is. Why don't you tell me what you think Woods and Palmieri are worth instead of telling me how horrible it is. Then we can, you know, actually have a conversation instead of people saying "that sucks" and "in your dreams".

Who said in your dreams?

I wouldn’t target those players. If the trade started in reality I would have maybe suggested changes, but it’s just too far out there.

It wasn't an exact quote, the quotes are hyperbole based on your posting history. Also I've posted, maybe, five AGM's today and this is the one you chime in on. If it's too far out there for you just don't post.

You’re posting it on an Internet forum. If you don’t want to hear criticism, don’t publish it, show it to your friends, and ask them to tell you how smart it is.

I know what the interwebz are Carlo, I also know what a human is. Try going to the school, work or the store and talking to someone like that. My issue isn't with criticism or who is smarter, my issue is how your giving it. I bet when you get a job or have kids they are going to love you and your amazing insite of:

THE....Worst move ever. Ew. but this trade is horrible. Yaaaaaa they’re not getting that. No. Yawn. Um. Duchene is on the jackets. And look sens fans. No extension in place. Because of course.

These are some of your attempts at conversation and these are just from today. I don't care who, what, where, when, why or how you are, those are all troll posts. Get out from behind your keyboard sometime.

Ugh. I hate when pigeons like you try to get into someone’s actual life on here. Grow up. This is an Internet forum, of course I’m not speaking to everyone in the real world like that. If you don’t like it, don’t read it. Don’t get all high and mighty and start talking about when I have kids. Seriously, grow up.

And the THE...worst move ever line was funny. The post was titled THE move, and it was awful.

I'm not sure I'm picking up what your putting down on the "pigeons" comment. I'm not interested in your life, I'm interested in conversation and an exchange of opinions and points of view. I'm not interested in slinging insults nor do I believe I'm high and mighty. I do find it humorous that your telling me to "grow up" though because I don't believe an internet forum means you get a license treat people differently then you would in your "actual life".

I'll give you a pass on "THE...worst move ever", I like funny and I agree there are some truly terrible AGM's out there. Cheers.

A 2nd is the absolute most I'd give up for Wood. I think he's an unremarkable 3rd liner who will be a career 3rd liner like Coyle, but won't match Coyle's offensive production.

Palmieri vs the rest isn't very good imo. I'd rather just cross my fingers with Cehlarik if that's the price for him or pay slightly more if at all for Mark Stone who's a better quality player.

Fair enough, I'm not high on Cerlarik but I appreciate your insight. I put a lot of value in there ages, term & value of contract. Boston needs help now for their core, these two guys fit.

Some food for thought: How many picks do you need to find one good enough to play 400+ games in their career? Wood is already half way there and is signed until 2022. Palmieri has already passed 400 and is signed until 2021. I'm not so sure those five assets will get 400+ games and I know they aren't ready right now.
