I don't feel bad about the package. Bowey wasn't exactly setting the world on fire. Our RHD depth is pretty set right now. And if we go deep in the playoffs, that 2nd isn't worth that much. Plus, still have a first.

You’re looking at Jeff Petry 2.0. Great trade. I’m mad, I wanted pens to land him. Caps should lock him up if they can. I live across from Detroit so I’ve seen him play IRL many times. He’s very under rated. Big fan of his game. Late bloomer

I think the over pay was to keep him away from other teams. Possibly the Penguins.
