If they don’t win they shouldn’t re-sign him. Keep the 1st rounder and bottom out next season.

MD isn't going to nashville.

I think MD is going to have a hard time finding a home to be honest. No one is going to sign him to 7 years. He'd be 35 when that contract is in the last year. I think he's looking at 5 year deals.
I think between age and attitude. His FA position will not be as strong as people think. That will make it hard on him if he's looking for more than 8 million. Best deal he was ever going to get was in Ottawa. He didn't want to be there. Can't blame him.
