I dont see the Edmonton Oilers getting rid of Draisaitl. He is still a very young player and the 2nd best Oilers. On top of that, Chiarelli is no longer their GM.

I know that just a trade for thought sorta thing it helps with there cap space too

I kind of like the Spurgeon move. I utterly loathe the Bjorkstrand move. I think the Draisaitl move is pure fantasy.

Yeah the spurgeon move helps relieve cap space by about $4-$5 million so it can help them resign a big name. It also upgrades savard and gets rid of wennberg horrible $4.9 million aav but still get picks back to balance the trade.
Side note- he was a healthy scratch against Ottawa last night only has 2 goals and 23 points in 59 games this year and has only hit 50+ points once in 5 NHL seasons for a 14th overall pick in 2013
