Its an overpay but doesn't matter Oilers are sellers. 6 teams between Oilers and wildcard spot, McDavid suspended two games. Sell what you can and revamp in offseason.

way overpay for a UFA to be. Not gonna give up 4 years of control on JP, 6 years on Bear, 3 years on Benning, for 3 months of Dzingel. If he wants to sign in EDM, he can sign in the offseason on his own. Just wait 3 months and we can have all players involved in the trade.
