If Vancouver retains half than I would do it. Zaitsev is good and was good lately. Even with Gardiner. And he would be good for Canucks even more. Look how Leivo rejuvenated.. with Gudbranson on Leafs I would think that Babs would play him like 35 minutes a night..

Yup.. but Gudbranson would be a good presence for guy like Hughes on his right side.

I think the opposite. Every defenceman has played better when they have played with someone else.

I don't think Benning does that. I also think there is some interest in the league that he could fetch a draft pick at the very least.

I think the Leafs should consider him for Zaitsev for cap relief. Not sure though.

Toronto says no. Zaitsev has been very good and gudbranson not at all. If zaitsev is moved it is for cap reasons. This move does not help our cap.
