I think OTT rejects the trade until AFTER next year's signing bonuses are due. and YES, Melnyk is that cheap. Ultimately (IF Lucic would waive) I do see OTT as a nice landing spot for his contract, but OTT won't take that contract right now because it's upside down. They'll just wait a little bit longer until Lucic's salary decreases lower than his cap hit...Which I think is next year.
