Description

So with injuries to the top 2, maybe top 3, Dmen, GMJR goes out on a limb today and does nothing. That to me says that either he really feels this team is solid and Stanley Cup Champion contenders, or his gonna let this year tank, actually use the 1st round pick to get a good player and make moves either at the draft or in the off-season. I'm a little disappointed because the Pens have issues and nothing got dealt with today. Maybe this means an active off-season, but it also means a LLLLOOOOOONNNNNNGGGGG 6 six weeks or so left in the regular season with nothing to be excited about.

Yea this isn't what I had in mind......depends on what we gave up. Pens needed a Dman with everyone hurt. If this cost a 1st rounder or a young prospect I'm gonna be even more pissed.

At some point these high salary, non producing players need to get moved somehow. 2019-2020 and beyond Pens look to be like the late 90's Pens

Only slight positive is that he's a Right handed Defender.......maybe he turns into a Justin Schultz in the Pens system. But that's a BIG ASS MAYBE!!!!!

Do love Bjugstad and Pettersson, but its just been an avalanche of poor decisions beside those two

Agreed. I like McCann as a 4th line center as well. But Pearson for Hags = bad. Gubranson is horrid and it all started with Crosby begging for Jack Johnson. Better be a great off-season cause this year is going down the toilet I think.
