Not remotely close, Brannstrom is a top 10 player outside the NHL

Said to best best Dman not in NHL. Guy could be the next Karlsson.

Brannstrom is more highly touted than Brook. Also, I don't want the Habs to make this kind of trade, they're not Cup contenders like Vegas, better to see what we have in Brook and continue to build through the draft.

The biggest problem is that Josh Brook and Eric Brannstrom are not close to equal value right now. I'm not saying Josh Brook is a bad asset, but right now Brannstrom is one of the best prospects in the world. A 19 year old kid that's produced in BOTH the highest levels of the world tournaments and in the AHL for the Wolves.

Armia is way better than Lindberg... etc...
Than take Romanov or Fleury or Olofsson, even Juulsen instead... the point is that the value was VERY LOW!
I don't understand that return

ur getting an elite level prospect, and prob the best defensemen in north america, whose not playing in the nhl. on top of that you're forced into a situation to trade him, so getting brannstrom out of that is pretty good considering the circumstances.

Brannstrom is similar to Suzuki, not Brook. (In terms of value)

OTT takes VGK's offer over your MTL one 10/10 times.

Would you add Mete into the package?

I don't think so. Suzuki is closer to Brook than Brannstrom. Suzuki and Brook are SOLID prospects (I'd rate them both A- prospects) playing with other prospects and get invited to attend for world tournaments. Brannstrom is a 19 year old dman that's already proven he can play against men (made the AHL all-star team) AND was the team Captain for Sweden at worlds also producing big time in that tourney. Again, it's not to say either Brook or Suzuki can't become great players...it's just illustrating how much Brannstrom has proven himself already...and Forwards are hard to compare to Dmen. Dmen typically take longer, but there has been a trend that this could be reversing a bit.
