Description

Binnington deal is a bridge and if he continues his ability, they'll resign him to a real contract midseason.

Couldn't quite tell how much Stars might part with Lindell for, but he's a stud. I'd like to go after one of the RFA LDs this summer like Lindell, Provorov, Sanheim, Murray or Werenski

Granted, I don't pay too much attention to DAL, but I don't think Lindell is THAT valuable. Also when the expansion draft comes, now you are losing 1 of Edmundson, Bortuzzo or Dunn.

Also, Blues window of trading Steen to Vegas closed with the signing of Mark Stone. Vegas has very little cap room so unless the Blues take on a lot of cap in return.

Steen part is true. Lindell is a legit top pairing lefty d man IMO.

I don't think it's much of an overpay. We're giving up a top prospect, a bottom 6 roster player, a 1st and then a busted prospect.c
