Description

Anisimov will give NJ more depth at C for only a third rounder
Hayden will help Toronto with their cap issues while also getting a 3rd rounder
Boqvist and Forsling will help Tamps's cap problems while the Hawks also taking on Callahan which is why no additional picks are added
Koekoek traded to Ottawa for a depth pick after the Sergachev trade

As a Leaf fan, how is Hayden's skating? He got more PK time last year, how is he on the PK?

I think Boqvist will be better than Sergachev in the long run, so I wouldn't do that trade. No way we take Callahan's terrible contract too.

He is not bad and he is an extremely hard worker and like to play the body. A good cheaper option for the Leafs imo

This is fair but the reasoning behind this is the Hawks need a LHD more than a RHD and Sergachev can play now while saving TB some cap. Also we only get Callahan for one year but because of that we do not include any other pieces in the trade
