Yeah that would've convinced Holland to deal Jensen to the Leafs, NOT, Holland has always had interest in Madison Bowey he got what he wanted. This sure wouldn't have changed his mind.

He probably will some day, But Detroit scouts heavily scouted Bowey in his draft year. And wanted him pretty bad but the Caps got him before us. So i'm not surprised that we got him in the Jensen deal.

Much as I wanted him, and thought he was ideal for the Leafs' situation, I have to admit that we don't have a prospect equal to Bowey to make part of this trade. Rasanen or Lindgren isn't enough, and Liljegren and Sandin are too much.

Wasn't so much about matching value, as it was about what the leafs would look like with Nick Jensen in a similar trade.
