Panarin

Created by: ClockReads2113
Team: 2019-20 Washington Capitals
Initial Creation Date: Feb. 23, 2019
Published: Mar. 5, 2019
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Panarin probably goes to NYR or NYI like it's being reported but have to think Caps have a chance at him if they wanted. He'd join a slew of great Russians here.

If Panarin wants more they could always move Bura out.

This is going to be an interesting summer to see what Panarin, Marner & (lesser extent) Laine get paid. Traditionally NHL teams have not given out top dollar to wingers. Stone is believed to have agreed to $9.5 mil per with Vegas though so that trend maybe changing.

It depends on how long they sign him. They could probably do a bridge for $4M but that would be unwise. Vrana is about to start his tear on the league and he'll come out of the 2 year deal asking for $6M+. Best to lock him down now for around $5M.

Definitely. Guys like Panarin and Marner are essentially centers that play wing because their playmaking is so great so they'll probably get paid like centers.

He can do it all. He’s a force offensively.
