Tampa says no. Either Sergachev, Callahan and a 2nd or 3rd for RIsto or
      Risto for Gourde straight up.

I’m thinking the cap savings on Callahan is what ups the second piece to Sergachev. If they did Risto for Gourde straight up they get no extra room to lock in point

Kings would want a draft pick in return. LaDue wouldn't cost much, maybe a 3rd, but the Kings need futures, not 25+ players.

Yeah but they aren't giving you a top 6 forward, a young top 4D for a top 4D. At best Sergachev for Risto makes sense and some pick compensation or a B- prospect to take Callahan

Blackhawks would say no too. He's a 2-way, 40 point player on a reasonable contract. By no stretch a Steal, but also by no stretch a Dump. He's just solid where he is and knows how to compliment his linemates. It's not worth losing him for a Clear AHL player and a lesser Center.

Risto stays in Buffalo. If that trade was going to happen, would have been at TDL this season

I like what you are doing, good thought process.
I know the TBL trade or similar has been floated several time on CF, I just do not see BriseBois giving up that much for Ristolainen. I think the CHI trade is possible, I do not think LAK would do the last.

When a similar trade was posted I replied that Ristolainen for Sergachev would be close, but if you think a 2nd should be added, who am I to disagree.

I know what you mean, but how much would give up to move Okposo's contract, McCabe? Well Sergachev is better than McCabe and Callahan's contract runs out next season. While I would want more than Gourde for Ristolainen, the difference is a lot less than Sergachev minus Callahan's one year contract.

TBL has to pay Sergachev too on top of Point and Vas. I think Sergachev deal will end up being more than the 3x3 everyone including you posts. Also saw you trading Killorn for a 4th, I'll take that please smile

I don’t agree with this... TDL is usually starting talks for offseason, we saw that with ROR last year. The price was too high for an in-season trade and they could re-explore in the offseason
