I think they’ll add a prospect but I’d assume look for a deal close to what Miller got to STL. I really just did the minimum he should get. He’s worth at least 3 picks IMO. Age and cap hit could be an issue but for a team like CAR they need a goalie. I can see them shelling out picks/prospect for Quick

Kings won't do either of those trades.

Purposely low balled the offers. I can see them getting rid of both for picks/prospects. Petersen is ready whether we think so or not. Get something for quick and rebuild. Kings need to try and get Panarin so have to get rid of players. Yes Martinez is another option too

Fair enough, I think there would definitely be a premium placed in division but I don't see how Calgary doesn't take a crack at the offer, in the grand scheme of things, 5.8 is not a ton of money with the cap constantly increasing. We are currently paying a 36 year old goalie to be mediocre at best we may as well let Quick and Rittich take the reigns for 4-5 years here until one of our AHL guys really steps up to the plate.

Quick
Conditional Pick Round 3 - 5

No 5.8 is not a lot considering what Quick brings to the table. Man if the kings trade with CGY they have to get a top prospect and pick in return ?.

Yoooo where is my boy Alex Iaffalo?? I'd put him on the top line with Kopi and Brown, then Panarin-Carts-Kovy, the Kempe-Kupari-Toff, then Clifford-Brodzy-Wags.

Regardless of his figures this year, which are deflated due to the lack of commitment on defense of the players in front of him, Quick is still a world-class goalie, and should achieve a first and an A prospect, if not an actual roster player, at the least. Who do YOU think is more valuable: Jake Muzzin (who is signed for only two years), or Jonathan Quick? Blake obtained a first, a prime prospect plus a second-round unsigned draft pick for MuZz.

Hahah I know! I never want to put real prospects in a trade cause we know what they bring to the table, picks I am just so much less attached to! Kylington/Mangiapane/Dube would likely have to be involved.

Id like to see a deal with Carolina like this.

Rights to Stelio Mattheos
Rights to Eetu Luostarinen
Jake Bean
2019 2nd (CAR), 2019 2nd (BUF)
2020 2nd.
Scott Darling

For Quick

Thoughts?

Yes I agree. He should get a pretty damn good return. I would love a top prospect in return. His value will be much higher at the draft instead of this past deadline. Multiple teams were asking about quick. There’s definitely a market for him

Wallmark, a first and Bean, or Pesce, a 2019 second and a 2020 second, and the two unsigned prospects would be a minimum for me.
