Trades
1.
DET
  1. Callahan, Ryan
  2. Foote, Cal
Additional Details:
I think this could be a decent trade. Ryan Callahan has been scratched quite frequently and eats up a massive amount of cap space. This would be a smart move so Tampa can resign Point and Sergachev in the next two years. Callahan would likely waive his NMC just so he can play. I hope Detroit drafts his younger brother Nolan so they can both play together. That would be an amazing combo.
TBL
  1. 2020 2nd round pick (DET)
  2. 2021 3rd round pick (VGK)
2.
DET
  1. 2020 2nd round pick (WPG)
Additional Details:
Rights to Jacob Trouba.
Trouba has expressed interest in returning home to Detroit. We could get a shutdown defensman we so desperately need and create some roster space.
WPG
  1. Green, Mike ($2,680,000 retained)
  2. Rasmussen, Michael
  3. 2021 1st round pick (DET)
3.
DET
  1. 2020 6th round pick (DAL)
Additional Details:
Daley played a decade in Dallas. If Dallas makes a deep cup run next year some good depth defense could be great. I imagine Daley would love to return to Dallas and this is a reasonable price.
4.
DET
  1. Zaitsev, Nikita
Additional Details:
I know Toronto wants to clear some cap space and I think Detroit could afford to take him on. He is right handed and if Detroit switched him to a forward it could be a good trade.
TOR
  1. 2020 3rd round pick (SJS)
5.
DET
  1. 2020 4th round pick (CAR)

Would rather have veleno or Hronek than Rasmussen. Also the pick is too late. A 2019 2nd with bowey would be better. No need for Green either if we resign myers.
Also remove the 2nd going back to DET
So:
Veleno, 2019 2nd, Bowey for Trouba resigned?
OR
Hronek, 2019 2nd for Trouba resigned?

Either of those would be pretty good for the Jets.

For trouba resigned I think there needs to be something more valuable than a 1st coming back. Kind of like OTT with Mark Stone. Both Hronek and Veleno are A+ prospects and would need to be going back in a trade for a top defencemen signed through his prime. However if Trouba cannot be traded with an extension, the jets aren't getting much back. A mid-late 1st and a A prospect (most likely former 1st)

Have to agree. Zaitszev would make a good RW!
