Considering we can debate if Frolik and Stone are part of the team next year, it isn't too bad.....

Btw, next years cap is said to be $83 million......

Everyone wants to trade Frolik for a bag of pucks... guy is on pace, if he'd of stayed healthy, for 46pts over 82 games... with zero PP time. And fairly limited PK time as well. If you took away Tkachuks PP points he'd be on pace for 52pts... and everyone wants to give him $8mil a season

Multiple reports are saying $85M, although I am aware of the $83M projection. I used $85M because of the desire to reflect how tight it is even with a higher cap. Things have to be done to clear some cap space.

Stone is likely not movable due to his health. Frolik has value, but will never be signed at the end of his contract after next season. Move the him for something, while he has value. The Flames also need the cap space. We can't make a $83M cap and that is before any upgrades to the line up are made.
