Was hoping they could land Kuffner in addition, but I really like this signing. Sens add to their RW pool, which is has been pretty bare of late.( Batherson and recently acquired Johnathan Davidsson being the only right shot wingers in the depth chart.

I would like to see him playing in Ottawa down the stretch, with Balcers heading back to Belleville. Veronneau is going to need to adjust to the bigger, faster pro game, and as backwards as it seems I think there's more space for him on a terrible Ottawa team than on a very good Belleville team.

I have Veronneau in the GM game, so I'm very upset that he chose OTT. But it's his hometown team, so I don't fault him for it.

Very smart pickup by Dorion.

solid signing. He projects to a mid 6 guy. Good potential depth.

Within the 10% chance he makes the NHL ... he projects to be a mid 6 guy.

what loop hole? He was unsigned. No one wanted to draft him and he proved them all wrong by earning a contract through his hard play. Why do you hate on him for it?
Hell these are my favorite players to watch. They are all under dogs who fought and earned it.

The loop hole players you are referring to don't get signed until some time in August.

Correct, he was not drafted but for those who have been they are screwing teams that believed in them when they drafted them. They should not be eligible for the draft if they can just sign anywhere

He's already looking like a NHL player! Elite speed, and smart player. I am happy with this signing

It's good for them to get someone who can skate with Formenton. Those two are going to create some insane odd man rushes. I'd love to see a line of Fornenton-White-Veronneau. Three fast skaters with good hands and IQ. Could also go Formenton-Brown-Veronneau to cover for Brown's shortcomings, but I'd rather see Tkachuk-Brown-Batherson. Tkachuk can slot into the Paul Spot on that line.

I agree... I am also curious to see how Norris progresses in the next couple of years. Cuz he's also a burner and would slot in nicely with Formenton and Veronneau.

But yeah, love how much Browns has progressed this year and how well he's played with Batherson. The two has created some insane chemistry.

Looking past bad ownership, not having their own 1st round pick this year, and trading away all the star power... I am actually existed for the future, especially if everyone reaches their potential. This team is going to be a lot of fun to watch
