Tampa Florida Sabres Part 1

Initial Creation Date: Mar. 9, 2019

Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Tampa Trade (6/1/2019)

Bolts probably need to clean up at the very least $16-17 mill for Point/Vasilevsky, and then whatever Cernak signs for. These moves clean up ~$11 while adding a top 3 d-man and 3 picks.
(I did Killorn separately for transparency's sake) I've seen a few posts trading Killorn for a 4th and I'd take that in a second.
I see a lot of posts paying Sergachev 3 x $3mill, but I think he'll be more in the neighborhood of 4-5 which is another big cap hit.

Cleaning Up the Locker Room (6/20/19)

Botts finally clears up the crazy backlog of d-men, and some cap space, by shipping out Scandella and Hunwick to literally anywhere for literally anything (or that's just my explanation for not trying to find a legitimate trade partner)

The Cats (6/30/19)

Botts sees the Cats making a big push for the Russians out of Columbus and gives Dale a call to say that he'll free up some cash for him. Dale has a lot of holes to fill as is, so he wants a 1st and a couple cheap NHL bodies. Botts counters saying he'll take Reimer off his hands too for McCabe, CJ Smith, and a 2nd*, knowing Terry can afford buyout Reimer if he can't find someone in need of a goalie. Sent him to Calgary to replace Mike Smith for a 4th as a placeholder.

Signings

Before Trades 2019
Jeff Skinner. | 8 x 8.6 million - I think 8.3 is the right number, but I get the feeling he's going to test FA... hope we can keep him

Evan Rodgrigues | 1 x 1.8 million

After TBL Trade 2019
Anton Stralman | 2 x 4.5 million

Stralman could be a nice add.
BUF should have big cap space next 2 years and AS getting a 2 year deal would bring him to 35, so his next contract is guaranteed. Also seems like a perfect fit with Rasmus. So many things about a prospective TBL deal to like.
