Description
I liked what I saw tonight from Carey, I think he deserves to stay in the lineup until we regain health. Put Heinen back on the 1st line, Backes just doesn't help that line whatsoever, slows them down. I think putting Senyshyn with Krejci would be a good idea. It adds a speedy winger with a good shot. I would put Celharik with Coyle/Backes but he's in Bruce's doghouse right now. I think Backes looked a lot better along side Coyle on the third line than he did tonight with Marchy/Bergy. But thats just me, I'm not a head coach for a reason, just trying to plug some new ideas in with all these injuries.

Side note: Clifton I think has a legitimate shot to take Miller's spot next season. He's looked good when called upon, and with Miller's contract being an easier one to move I wouldnt be surprised if it happens.

Yes and also I think Fredric’s play has been pretty good in the couple of game we’ve seen him in. He’s strong center who finishes his checks and he seems to be winning a lot of his face offs. IMO I'd take Fredric over senyshyn

Some of this makes sense, but Senyshyn isn't even good for AHL standards and Nordstrom needs to be promoted to the "5th line" when people get healthy. (The 5th line: The players who retrieve refreshments for the rest of players on level 9 while watching the game) I'm beyond tired of Nordstrom in the lineup as he really doesn't do anything good and Senyshyn wouldn't be able to hang in the NHL. He can't even score a half point per game in the AHL which means he'd probably have less than 20 points in the NHL if he played 82 games, which he wouldn't be good enough to do in the first place.

Backes looked good on his first shift on the first line, but it was all downhill after that lol. I agree he shouldn't be playing in that spot over Heinen.

Frederic and Cehlarik aren't very good yet, but I'd rather have them in the lineup instead of Senyshyn and Nordstrom.
