Well someone actually valued Vesey right but trading McCabe isn't a smart idea. Your starting Hunwick because of it...

f**k jim vesey. he already screwed us once...he didnt want to go to Buffalo when he had the chance....we expressed great interest in signing him and he said nope...

he went to harvard but hes an idiot anyways

left Nashville who is top 10 team past 3 seasons to go to NYR who have sucked

also Trouba is signing for more than that and they wouldnt do that trade anyways...Trouba is very solid and Risto is not very good

first off the whole premise for WPG trading him is that he wants a lot of $ and wont have the cap room to sign him

if he were to sign for 6.5 WPG would lock him up long term-in trading for Risto they downgrade pretty significantly and only save like 1 mil in cap space...WPG is in win now mode they could care less about the 2nd round pick...

Trouba is gunna get 6-8 years and Risto only under contract for 3 more seasons...the trade really doesnt make sense for WPG

also Nic Hjalmarsson just got 5 mil
    skjei 5.25
    nate schmidt 6 mil
    dumba 6 mil
    ekblad 7.5 mil

trouba better than all of those players
dumba is closest but Trouba will get more

trouba just did a a year for 5.5 mil—-hes gunna sign a big ticket in offseason for sure

my guess would be 7 to 7.5 mil for 6-8 years

also if youre trading Mccabe for Burakovsky why are you also offer sheeting him?

The majority of his good seasons he was with Washingtons best players, without them hes a 20 point player. Hes definitely not worth McCabe

His best season he played with eller and Brett Connelly? He’s never played consistently in the top 6 (aka Washington’s best) In the last 33 games this season he has 17 points. That’s trash? He’s also playing 3rd/ 4th line minutes. You seem to have limited knowledge on bura. You also just pulled him playing with the caps best out of your asz. McCabe wouldn’t be anything more than a 3rd Pairing guy in DC. We don’t need him. Buras value might not equal his but to call him trash is just silly and embarrassing......

He played with eller and connelly parts of the last 2 seasons and theyre far from his best. Id rather have Connelly

That’s fine Connelly is a ufa after this season you can bid on him with 15 other teams. And he played with eller and Connelly MOST of the last 3-4 years. The other majority was with beagle and winnick Boyd. Bura also has had little to no powerplay time.

Again he’s not the great player in the nhl ....: but he’s far from trash....

Again thats just this year, You can look up his lines.

    https://frozenpool.dobbersports.com/players/andre-burakovsky

Last year he shared lines with Oshie, Backstrom, Ovechkin, and Kuznetsov in every quarter. Trash may be harsh, if we're trying to be PC, but hes not nearly worth McCabe

Site is extremely misleading.... it simply tells you if he played with a player not how many games or anything further. I would suggest you use a completely different site or something more accurate.... just watching him most games I would say he’s played less than 20 minutes with backstrom this season.

And pc or not trash is extremely over the top. His nhl numbers are better than nylander Ahl numbers. So is nylander trash also?

Its based on percentage and Nylander has been playing with AHLers, not Backstrom and Ovi

Dsp is playing w Ahler and he has 10 points in 10 games. ..... logic is flawed again but whatever.

The correct thing to say is... bura is a very solid nhl player who has a high potential but due to the depth in Washington it would be hard to reach it. Mainly bc he can’t break the top 6

Trouba hasn't signed there long term because he has requested a trade out of there. He may get more than 6.5 but not much more. This is the first year he has got 40 pts
