I’m confused here... is it 8x16.8m or 8x10.5m ? (which both can only be 7 year deals)

Leafs take the picks on the 16.8m and match the 10.5m and send you a fruit basket with a thank you card...

Edit: oh I see they have adjusted for 5 years... yeah doubtful marner signs that...

Do the Rangers really want to so close to the cap? Then shortly they have their own RFAs to sign and is there money for them? Do the Rangers (or any team) want to overpay for a RFA, and give up picks. This contract would make Marner the highest paid winger in the league I believe. How does any team justify that?

As a Ranger fan id hate this...Marner is good and all but 4 1st's out the door at the back end/during their rebuild? Doesn't make any sense...and what also doesn't make any sense is Ryan Strome as the 1C, gross.

Since Strome has been traded to New York hes been the best all around center, now that Zucc is gone DJ Zbad’s production has gone way down. No need to be a Stromer hater.

I see your point on Marner thought
