As a Ranger fan, I feel conflicted. One part of me wants to take this deal and run. The other part of me feels that we need Zibenajad and that without him we don’t have a number #1 center. I think that deal is fair, but NYR wouldn’t make it, unless they get Hughes.

Zibanejad trade is not close imo

In this scenario Tanev and Lowry combined make pretty much what Little makes, I'd let Tanev walk and trade Lowry and keep Little. I'd rather have a pricey but competent 3C in Little who can move up if there's injuries to Zib or Scheiffele then Lowry who's really an elite 4th line center but not a productive 3C.
Would suck to see Samberg go but I doubt this trade would happen anyways, Rangers improve their defense but decimate their center position so it doesn't make much sense for them, would love to see Zibenejad playing for the Jets though, he's exactly what they need.
