Jets cannot afford the luxury of a $2.5M back-up. If that is what Broissoit can get offered then the Jets trade him for comparable assets. Comrie can handle 20-25 games for under $1M. That would open up $1.5M to bring back Tanev and or keep Copp. If the Jets could get different assets off of Jersey, I'd like to see Myers in that second pairing. I can't see the Jets parting ways with both Trouba and Myers. Chevy and Maurice know the importance of defensive depth.

Brossoit can be signed for a very cheap one year deal as next season will be his last as a RFA. With that excess money you can retain Copp. Also there is zero chance Adam Lowry plays wing.

Totally agree about Brossoit, that's too much for the Jets given their cap situation and it's time to give Comrie a chance, he's having a great season in the AHL.
Definitely keep Copp, great utility player that can center a line, guys like that are pretty valuable, guys like Tanev are easy to replace.
