Vancouver says no very quickly, but from the Edmonton perspective, I'm not sure your team is actually better. Better wingers for sure, but your center ice looks weak.
Yup, I was lazy, it should have been Ottawa, I am sort of excessive compulsive and try to make the trade with teams in alphabetical order. When the Senators are ready to make a play off push Lucic's contract will be nearly completed. You are correct the centers are not top rate, but with better wingers 2nd line centers could look pretty good, I mean Tarasenko as Nugent-Hopkins RW, I could probably get 50 assists with Drouin and Vlad as my wing mates. Lastly Brown getting better minutes would most likely return to his 20 goal season.

yeah probably a playoff team if you get a real goalie
Yup, but with that defense (adding Parayko and Butcher), the goal tenders may not see many shots.

Reverse McJesus trade and look at your team... it will be better like that IMO
I understand but then I do not have the first to move Lucic and then I do not have the cap space to sign Nelson. The defense suffers with out Parayko. So if I reverse the McDavid trade I lose a center, a scoring machine RW and #1 defender.
Edit: when this was posted earlier
https://www.capfriendly.com/forums/thread/210645 every one was against the trades, I think you all could see the improvement on defense and wing could make this a playoff team.
