The boys club thing is a UrinatingTree reference to the Bruins management. If you're referring to the roster, I think the roster's pretty solid, maybe the Forsbacka-Karlsson contract is jumping the gun, but the 2 year deal is to keep him in Boston for another year so he can actually get decent ice time next season.
