Kadri is in the deal you forgot to mention that. He is top-6 C in league who is defensively solid and can score 30+ goals. He is massive upgrade over Goldobin. And Tanevs trade value is really low. Thats why I said Nucks might probably add pick.

If the Oilers didn’t trade Caggiula, brown would be 7th In goals on the Oilers. And Gagner has a higher PPG than brown. He’s not worth more than a 4th and the Oilers say no. And Kadri is not a top 6 C in the league. He’s not even a top 20 C.

Yeah because he is playing 4th line minutes on stacked offensive team.. On Oilers he would play with McDavid or Draisaitl. Likely with McDavid since they have chemistry over years in junior. Brown is speedy winger who is much better than both Kassian and Caggiula and Gagner and all those guys. He is likely worth 3rd rounder. Brown is playing on 4th line because we are stacked. he is better than every single Oilers winger. And if that happens and you get Brown, you will see why.

And you misunderstood comment about kadri. He is top-6 C meaning that he should be playing on either 1st line or 2nd line on any team he is traded to, I have never said that he is top 6 C in the league in the sense that he is top tier C like you interpreted it. He is top-30/top-40 Cman in the league but he is clearly top-6 guy.

As Vancouver I say yes in a heart beat. Zaitsev is almost as good as Gardiner at this point and I’m really tired of seeing Pettersson taking faceoffs and Goldy playing at all. This would allow either Kadri or Horvat to play the 1C role and Pettersson to play LW. Kadri could be a point-per-game guy again with Pettersson and Boeser. Let’s do this!
