What makes you think Panarin won't sign with LA? He has stated that is one of his most preferable destinations. Duchene will sign if Panarin signs. LA had a lot of pull on free agents dispite their standings. Its LA. Carter probably couldn't bring back more than that, but it would make sense to ask for more first. I just don't they'll get more.
