I think Zucker to Edm makes a lot of sense. For what is the hard part but he is a player EDM should be trying to get IMO.

For what is exactly the hard part. It all depends how MIN values Zucker. I see him for a 1st and something small but because I am sending Gagne back, I figured a former top 4 pick (likely needs a change of scenery. Somewhere who knows how to develop players) and a 2nd should be enough. It's a bit of a gamble on MINs part but at this point I think it's one they need to take.

Yup but the same can be said about EDM with Puljujarvi. The kid was taken 4th overall for a reason. He is only 20 after all and is one good developmental season away from breaking out and potentially doing what Zucker could do anyway. But like with everything, that is still an maybe.

I think a top 12 protected 1st rounder in 2020 plus some extra stuff for Zucker would be more up EDM's alley. Giving up on Puljujarvi already is premature IMO.

I am only trading Puljujarvi for his sake. EDM needs to fire all their player development people because clearly they don't know what they are doing. So many top picks, so many busts/not living up to potential.

I'd like to see Russell traded instead, if you need cap space. Bob Nicholson has already stated that Bouchard will play in the AHL next season, probably Persson and Benning fight for 3RD. Would MIN trade Spurgeon and if so, what would that cost?

To EDM
Spurgeon
Zucker

To MIN
Puljujarvi
Gagner
2019 2nd round pick
2020 1st round pick
prospect?

Russell to VAN for a 4th.
