Fun Game -Fair Value

Description
Read this on here and I thought it was a cool game. I was bored and could try it out. The goal is to trade every player currently on your roster for another player in the league that you think has as close to equal value.

Im sure I have overvalued some of the leafs and undervalued others, but i dont know teams well enough to hunt for a better comparables. Also the last few 6th-8th D and 9th-10th forwards were more of a guessing game.

Thoughts?

Loved this Actually, I personally see Marner as more of a P.Kane in his early years of 20-30 goals with anywhere from 50-65 Assists smile

I think its important to distinguish between potential and current value. Dermott may be a Nate Schmidt one day but he's not even close right now.

very interesting game. Definitely tough for some players(especially those fringe guys). So wont fault too much on these even though there are a couple that seem pretty iffy.

I think he is a little closer than we think, but yeah I was really trying hard to find a comparable for Dermott

On the fringe, i had no idea what i was talking about. I mostly just tried to reaquire some ex-leafs that havent played that much to be funny, since it was either that or being blindfolded and spinning a wheel to see which player i chose.

Define closer? squinting with tongue out

Not trying to bash Dermott at all here but i don't think you can make a case for Dermott being close to Schmidt right now. Unless by "closer" you mean, closer than a guy like Polak would be. Then yeah I agree 100%. Other than that, Dermot is just beginning to scratch the surface of a top 4 dman. Schmidt is playing top pairing for a very good Vegas team right now.

How about make it more interesting and you have to use all the NHL teams at least once.

rosters aren't big enough so would have to dip into AHL guys from your own team as well.
