Brown is worth more than a third. He's a former 20 goal scorer and will probably play on mcdavids wing. maybe a second gets him.

Brown is playing mostly 4th line minutes, and is a pk specialist. look what he did with McDavid in jr. He can be a 20-30 goal scorer on mcdavids wing playing top minutes. I agree it would be great for Edmonton to get him. Just saying he is worth more than a 3rd. Toronto spent a second for plekanec as a rental. lets be realistic.

Just because toronto got stupid for Plekanec doesn't make Brown worth more. He's worth a 2nd at most. Ideally he's a 3rd or 4th line winger on a good team. Only reason he'd be higher in EDM is because they have no wingers.

As for Parayko you gotta look at guys overall game when valuing them. So is he a top five defensive guy? Maybe. Idk. I don't think of players in that way. Whats his overall value he brings to the table? He's an awesome 2-3 defenseman. Could compliment a top D very well or anchor a second pair. He's probably somewhere in the 15-30 range for defenseman in the league

Personally I would say Nuge is 40-60 range for Centers. He's the 3rd Center on lots of teams (should even be third on EDM if Drat was playing center full time). Parayko is not a 1 guy. 2-3.
