Ya we will keep him. Better to get scored against and at least score than just be shutout by the worst team

BUF accepts.

But seriously. Ristolainen is not good. How many different ways would you like me to explain to you how he is not good?

The Sabres probably couldn’t trade Risto if they wanted to. Everyone (except for you and the few Risto fanboys still clinging on) is starting to see that he’s not top d-man he was billed as when he was drafted.

You ever see the finish line and slip and grind your face on the asphalt all the way to edge of the finish line and then pass out

Risto was there last night. They let in 4 and scored once... From center ice, in a play he had no involvement in.

I knew the 10 game winning streak wasn’t truly indicative of how good the Sabres were, but I still expected them to be a bubble team that would be playing meaningful games down the stretch!

Well basically all our depth is in Rochester. Sabotka starts almost every game. We sent down our 2nd best defender for half the season. Goaltending stopped being God's and went to performing as expected. Our coach is well, trying his best

I would take risto...... people said the same thing about Schultz and now edm looks so dumb for trading him. Look how bad grudbranson was and now he leads the nhl in Corsi since being traded to the penguins. Sometimes a player is a bad fit but to say he’s awful and not able to be traded seems ..........dumb

Im being sarcastic. But this is what some Sabre "fans" believe. Buffalo loves to scapegoat one player when we dont get our way. This is one of the least mature fan bases in sports

Haha I hope he gets traded and turns into the next Carlson bc that’s more realistic than him being a bust/ bottom pairing guy

Pilut is far from being their 2nd best dman. Maybe in a few years, but right now no. The way he was playing, he deserved to get sent down, especially when Beaulieu was playing well (also sat). The Sabres were getting puck luck, but this season is going as it was expected before the streak

It was 2 2, that 2nd goal wasnt interference. They lose that tying goal, then Jersey got a lucky empty netter to make it 3 1. Compared to this mess of a game, where they had 10 decent minutes before they imploded. I can see a stark contrast

I liked Beaulieu and would have rather seen Scandella traded than him. Pilut is our 2nd best defender by a long shot when it comes to limiting opportunities and getting opportunities for his team.

Yes puck luck exists but a loss is a loss. You can't say oh the refs when this **** has happened for 3+ years. Risto has +/- of over -140 in the past years. Jake McCabe who was often paired with Risto through tank years, -22. Sticking to your guns and not trying something new is ridiculous. If you want to keep him that's fine but he should be a 3rd pairing/PP guy. You can't say he's performed well enough to warrant being a 2nd pairing. Borgen looked a better fit as of last night but of course that's subject to change

Just because they don't agree with you doesn't mean they're not fans. Calling someone out for not agreeing with you makes you immature.

It has nothing to do with whether or not we agree on something, and at no point did I say that theyre immature because they dont like Risto
