That's quite intriguing. I actually already traded Goldobin in a seperate transaction and I'm stacked on defense. Would Sutter and Biega for Scandella and Oskari Laaksonen work for you?

Not really. Okposo has NTC and it's unlikely he'd waive it, and besides since they produce pretty much in the same rate the trade basically trading a good LHD prospect for a player that has less term left.
I'd say no to that trade, but there might be some BUF fans who'd consider it differently.

From what I've seen from BUF fans (I'm not a fan myself), they want to get rid of Scandella. So if you're looking to "dump" Sutter in BUF, taking Scandella could help the process.

How about Sutter and Biega for Scandella and Oskari Laaksonen?

That's probably going to be even harder no. Scandella and Sutter are pretty much equal in value as far as I know - as a player Sutter is a tad better, but Scandella has less term left and both of them are overpaid. Moving a decent prospect who's actually had a pretty good season in Finland for Biega, who'd probably have the same role as Scandella, just a right handed cheaper version of him...doesn't really help them.

All righty then I'll take Sutter for Scandella one for one. Just wondering does Scandella ever play the right side?

And this is why I added Goldobin and Larsson to the move. Even if value is pretty good, it doesn't fit too well to Sabres' needs. After they acquire Sutter, they have 4-5 bottom-6 centers (Sutter, Girgensons, Larsson, Sobotka and Rodrigues).

And I think not, I have not heard Scandella playing on the right side ever. Could be wrong in this, though.

As a follower of the Islanders; Sutter could be a fit to replace Filppula at 3rd/4th line center....if healthy.
Ho Sang seems to have worn out his welcome on the island so I would start him. Not sure what value canucks would want. HoSang is still young, former 1st round pick with upside potential.
So Sutter for HoSang + pick or prospect (Burroughs?)

That seems quite interesting. I would imagine that perhaps Vancouver would want a right winger for Sutter so HoSang does fit the bill. Would you guys do Sutter and Lind for HoSang and Burroughs and a seventh in 2020?

I would but I’m not the GM.
