LOL. Drai is 10x better than Reinhart. Don’t be salty you drafted the wrong player. Nuge would cost Reinhart + Risto imo

Reinharts only advantage over Drai is that he is a great net-front presence. Probably top 5 in the league. RNH does not cost a 40 point D and a 70 point forward. Dream on. Our good GM could probably get him for Thompson and a 1st

LOL I'm not salty. If you could read you would of realized I was responding to the quote that said Risto and Reinhart for RNH, which is RIDICULOUSLY lopsided in Edmonton's favor. So in response to that ridiculous trade proposal I made my own ridiculous suggestion (adding Drai).

Reinhart for RNH straight up isn't even fair for Buff so why would adding Risto make it fair? SMH

How is reinhart for RNH straight up not fair for buffalo? One is a 70 pt Center, one is a 70 point winger.

well this is factually incorrect. If you look at RNH advanced stats the player he has played the most with in the past 3 years is McDavid on the WING. Sure he plays a bunch of center to but he's had his most success career wise on the wing with McJesus.

Reinhart was also drafted as a center and has played center in the past just like RNH. So there both C/W.

Also neither player has ever broken 70 points. So that's also wrong. there points are extremely similar and they both fall in the 50-60 point range.

Now to move on to there contracts. RNH is a 25 year old making $6,000,000 with 2 years left until UFA. Reinhart is a 23 year old making $3,473,387 with one more year left and then he's an RFA.

So to summarize. Both play center and wing and both produce the same points. Reinhart is younger and cheaper (currently) and under team control much longer. Thus, Reinhart has more value then RNH.

Past 3 years, 5v5, RNH's most common line-mate by far is Lucic, at 941:15 of his 3017:04 minutes (31%). TOI with McDavid is 588:12, or less than 20% of his total TOI. Meanwhile, your facetious argument falls apart even further when we look at Reinhart's most common line-mates: Eichel (1465:00!! or 44.4% of his TOI), O'Reilly (672:19) and Skinner (641:45).

Here is RNH's scoring compared to Reinhart's:

RNH with McDavid: 2.35 p/60 (588:12)
RNH overall: 1.71 p/60 (3017:04)

Reinhart with Eichel: 1.80 p/60 (1465:00)
Reinhart overall: 1.63 p/60 (3302:48)

So Reinhart gets far more time with the teams superstar, never plays center (more defensive responsibilities), and never has to drag Lucic around the ice.

RNH > Reinhart

RNH > Reinhart

Reinhart numbers reflect him being able to drive his line on his own. It's part of the reason people in buffalo want housley fired. He insists on playing him with Eichel even though the numbers say he doesn't need to.

What's your source?

I used Leftwinglock.com

You also haven't taken into account that Reinhart is 2 years younger and an RFA. RNH is 2 years from UFA and makes double what Reinhart makes. They put up similar numbers, Reinhart is cheaper, Reinhart is under team control longer thus he has more value then RNH. Sorry I'm not sorry.

I wasn't speaking to the trade, I was proving you wrong in your analysis. Boom roasted, as the kids say.
