That's a huge overpayment for both Hayes and Myers

Could go for Panarin or Karlsson instead of Hayes and Myers

Konency isn't taking $4M x 6 years.. way too cheap.

Provorov isn't taking $5M x 6 years.. still too cheap.

Sanheim isn't taking $2M x 3 years.. still cheap.

You're overpaying DSP. He was waived and sent to the minors.. you can probably get him under $1M for 1 year. That's what he was making this year and he won't get a raise.

$3M for a backup in Mrazek? .. He already didn't work out once in Philly. Don't know why you'd want him back and to overspend on a backup.

Hayes and Myers contracts aren't too bad though. That's probably the highest they'd get but still a good possibility they get it

Rumor has it, that is was Myers is looking for. While Cap space is available, why not pay for the Giant RHD? 2-3 years time once the cap has risen more he will still be young enough to trade without worry.

I put that price tag on Hayes figuring it would be enough to beat out most offers.

The problem with T. Myers is that he's not that good. He's fine but he's not the answer the Flyers need at the back end.

Because he isn't very good. The reason this team got into cap trouble is because they overpaid bad to mediocre players. Giving Tyler Myers 7M a year for the next 6 year is another over-payment for a mediocre veteran.

Also, what's the rationale for bringing back Mrazek? Highly doubt he's interested in coming back to Philly where he won't be the starter.
