Description

Looking back. It might look bad from Buffalo's side of view, but the thing is O'Reilly was supposably a Locker Room cancer for Buffalo. So in a way it actually helped them. 70 Point player first time because he fits better in St.Louis, but idk if he really was as good as everyone was thinking he was in Buffalo. When you look back they just wanted him gone, so I think it isn't a fair deal, but at the same time it helped Buffalo be better without him.

yeah. but before it was about 50 point pace when O'Reilly was on the team.

How much better would it be if Berglund were playing? And there's still that 1st round pick to come... I thought it was a pretty good deal for Buffalo, and I still think that.

St.Louis pick is in Anaheim now.

Berglund was also Lazy. St.Louis let him be lazy, and he caught the brunt of it in Buffalo.

It was a bad trade then, and it looks worse now. Just because you need to move a player, doesn't mean you have to move him for nothing. Imagine if someone like Pietrangelo or Schwartz got disgruntled and hated playing here. Just trading them to trade them wouldn't sit well with anyone. Them leaving isn't a win lol.
