Then you have no business in getting McDavid. You want the best player for Provorov, and Patrick, Voracek, and a cap dump. Yeah, LMAO. Crack is an amazing thing. Voracek has never reached 30 Goals in his career. Provorov is good, but he isn't any great break out player yet who probably won't even become one of the best in NHL History. Patrick has slacked off a bit this year.

Edmonton wouldn't make a trade without getting rid of the Lucic deal.

Yeah that makes an issue. McDavid's arguably the best player in the world, and naturally the most valuable contract as well, while Lucic just might be the worst contract in the entire league. It could make the package involving McDavid more...reasonable.

Like why would Provorov as DD is saying enough for McDavid? It isn't if Edmonton is trading McDavid it's getting rid of Russell, Lucic, and any other bad contract for Provorov, Konecny, 1st, and another player. It is the greatest player since Gretzky. This is not the next Crosby if not the Better one.

Tbh I think the first added and Lucic deal. Fair Straight up. McDavid is worth that right there what I just countered.

It's pretty good in my opinion. Provorov would make their defense much better and Draisaitl-Couturier-Konecny sounds pretty dangerous first line.

EDIT: Maybe if PHI takes Russell's contract and adds a TOP10 protected first round pick I'd say it's fair for both teams.

Definitely not adding to that to take on a cap dump! I'll add a 2020 1st but EDM has to send Klefbom back. That will help EDM with their cap.
