If Barrie agrees to an extension then it’s a deal

I fee like you're selling extremely low on Barrie. A prospect that needs a lot of work and a cap dump? Should probably at least get Edmonton's 1st rounder too.

That said, I'll give you a Toronto offer (that I've posted a couple times)
To Colorado:
William Nylander
TOR 2020 2nd round pick

To Toronto:
Tyson Barrie (signs 7 year/$6.75M AAV)
AJ Greer
COL 2020 4th round pick

Deal is only done if Barrie signs the extension. Do you think he'd sign for that?

Toronto doesn't have any offensive issues so Barrie won't be of interest to them. Team that acquires Barrie will be offensively challenged and needs a PP QB like Barrie. Think Pulj worthy of the risk. But you may be right that the edition of Sekera can get you more picks, but a 1st is untradeable for EDM because they could be a lottery team next year as well.

that is a god awful trade for Barrie. A rebuild project in Puljujärvi, an expensive Dman coming off 2 terrible injury filled years that is slated to be a 5m third pairing Dman on the Avs and a 2nd round pick for a 60 point offensive Dman who has been one of the most prolific offensive Dmen in this league for the past 5+ years.

Theres gotta be a lot more value than that

Jesse is a bust plain and simple, sekera hasn't been good for awhile, but why would we trade barrie because we have to many defenseman for a 4th line winger and a defenseman

I agree, i do also think people are selling short on Barrie. Over the past 5 seasons, Barrie averages 51 points a season
