Description
I have full confidence that Jensen and Orlov together will be a force on each end of the ice. Djoos and Siegenthaler will easily replace Orpik and Niskanen. Kempny will continue to be solid. Carlson will keep being an all star. Hagelin will be a pest. Burakovsky will be trade bait if we need defensive depth or goaltending depth at the deadline. I’m expecting Samsonov to pull off what Hart did in Philly. Having Wilson, Oshie, and Ferland in your top 3 lines makes this one of the toughest and most annoying offenses to defend against.

Don’t go with the younger and cheaper goalie option who is projected to be better than the current goalie and sign a big name free agent while keeping all the core pieces intact and getting rid of the dead weight? I’m confused as to what about that “contending teams” don’t do lol

A move like that is what ruins Cup winning teams reign. Why would you ruin a good thing. Capital's will be fine and they wont tade Holtby unless he goes completely to crap.
