Doesn't at least four years of Tzachuk control have more value than one year of Hall? Calgary isn't home to Hall.

Was just going off Hall's place of birth on capfriendly being calgary. And yes four years of Tkachuk is worth more than one year of Hall. But that's why I included Neal bad contract too, unless he has a comeback season saw Neal as a cap dump going forward. Included Gillies since the Devils need another AHL goalie and he hasn't played well in the AHL but he still has some upside.

For this to work NJ would likely have to let Hall and CGY talk about a contract extension before the trade.
