Draft targets 15 overall range

Description
Dman that I'd target: Cam York, Philip Broberg, Victor Soderstrom, Thomas Harley. In that order.

You have to think one of them will still be available in the 15th overall range. Byram will go Top 5 imo, no chance Habs get him unless they can move up. The one guy that I would trade up a few spots to get would be York. Fits the literal description of what the Habs are looking for in a LD.

I think it goes without saying that Habs should go for a Dman at the draft. But for whatever reason they decide to go after a forward. Ryan Suzuki would be the guy 100%. The thought of having the Suzuki brother combo could boost both players level of play, which is already high to begin with.

Who would you go for or try and target at the draft around 15th overall?

Do you need another good LHD prospect though? Don't you have Mete and Romanov coming... Imo MTL should go after an established TOP4 D.

Personally I like Vlasic as the best late round D man.
Skates well, has the size, shown good development. if you are picking at 15 and he's still on the board, that is where I would go.

Notice how all that Ramanov talk has died down after a season of riding pine in the KHL. MTL needs to get him out of there and ASAP. Into the Q or OHL or anywhere. When the league leaders on defense are David Rundblad and Cody Franson...and you're sitting behind Klas Dahlback...gotta get out of there are actually playing hockey somewhere. The 8:32 minutes of KHL playoff hockey over the 4 games they actually allowed you to NOT be a healthy scratch...not doing you any favors staying there. He's still a VERY good prospect, but man he needs to actually get on ice...somewhere.

I think Turcotte is gone around 8-10.
Im also not big on drafting Suzuki.

Romanov is developping well on a top 2 team in the KHL and was playing solid minutes in the regular season. They will obviously play the veterans in the playoffs.

The KHL is a really good league. He is a VERY VERY good prospect. I'm not trying to take anything away from him. I want him on my team. I'm just saying that if I were MB...he's coming over to North America next year. Even during the regular season he was ~11 min ATOI and bottom pair. Maybe it's just me, but I want my prospects playing A.) more minutes and B.) meaningful minutes.

Too bad.

Can't believe a team with 96 points can miss the playoffs.....
