Not enough. You likely need to include one of Farabee, O'Brien, Ratcliff, Frost, Lindblom, Patrick or Myers for a deal to happen

You are going to need one more piece for Trouba, he is a young puck moving RHD, he is going to be highly coveted. Is Hayes worth that much, and for that long? I never really thought Hayes was very good and paying him 6 mill +, I would rather make a run for Panarin... but i like these ideas

They're going to keep the assets and overpay Tyler Myers. Like it or not.

I was thinking it was a bit low. I went with Vorobyov because I figure he'd help out the Jets now (in the bottom six) rather than waiting for a Ratcliff or O'Brien to be NHL ready. But I'd be willing to swap them if they want.

The way I see it, I like Hayes because he can play both center and the wing. Not to mention he can play on PP or PK. For now I'd have him as a 2C but as Patrick and Frost get better, he can be moved to the wing to accommodate them. It's a bit of an overpayment for him, but I imagine you'll have to since he's a UFA. Not to mention with the expansion draft coming up, I'd imagine they're going to lose one good player with or without Hayes. So they'll have the space for him.

That's what I'm afraid of lol

Can anyone explain why weve gotten so many trade proposals (like the one above) which involve like 1 piece for 4-5-6 pieces in exchange?
Why cant we propose more quality > quantity trades?
Trouba <> Farabee and 2019 1st
or
Trouba <> Frost and 2019 1st

It's because people don't like giving up their top prospects unless their team is really going for it.

I thought about using Farabee or Frost. But figure with these moves the Flyers are going to need some younger players on ELC to mix in with those big contracts.

I would consider using a roster player like Lindblom, Patrick, or Konecny with the right pick(s).

Frost and Farabee are unlikely to be trade because they are top prospect and very good

You do understand that Trouba is a good defencemen right? Who’s actually played a couple of seasons in the NHL and is proven. Frost and Farabee haven’t played a single season in the NHL, you don’t know what they actually are

I won’t take a chance to trade one of them for trouba plus a first round pick
