At this point of their hockey careers, it is very difficult to transition to a new position, especially from a D to a F. Sure a few players can accomplish this like Big Buff and Burns but those guys have a much better skill set to make that transition. It would be a long and tough learning experience for Ghost, one that I am not willing to wait for.

Dude had 65 points last year, he’s having an off year, why botch his whole career? He’ll be a Shattenkirk / Yandle type player. Not a #1D but still very valuable to a team

Lmao I’m just saying, idk why there’s so much hate for ghost. Sure he’s not great defensively but that’s not his role. He’s an offensive power play specialist. He is what he is. If you’re looking at him to be #1 D you’re gonna be disappointed. If you’re looking at him as a great complementary D paired with a steady, defensive guy, you’re gonna be really pleased to have him on your team. He’s a Yandle/Shattenkirk type player. Teams need those guys. And at 4.5 million for 4 years he’s signed to a very good contract
