I am all for giving a 3rd or 4th to Carolina for the rights to Fox. A 2nd even by itself is too much, and Pionk (despite his struggles) could also fetch a 2nd or 3rd by himself. Too much for a package deal. I think they need forwards more than D. Would try and see if they would even take Vesey or Namestnikov straight up.

Young player. Affordable. Former 1st Round Pick. Players such as this still have a certain distinction to them. Even Puljujarvi out in Edmonton (who hasn't done ****) constantly finds his name in the Rumor Mill as the potential Reclamation Project. Even if Lamoriello wasn't the guy who selected him, I don't think he would appreciate the possibility of him eventually finding his stride over on Broadway. I am sure there are plenty of takers from the other 3 Divisions that would be interested.
