Great story, but still, last year had a great ending. The Blues are probably the team i wanted 2nd least to win the cup (Pittsburgh being #1). Better ending last year IMO.

Congrats to the Blues and their fans though. Great seeing Maroon win the cup. And Bouwmeester finally winning the cup.

Why didnt you want blues

Going into the playoffs I wasn't cheering against them, but watching this playoff I don't like the way they play. It's a hitting game and I don't like a lot of the hits they've made. Especially a lot of the hits by Sammy Blais.

Boston hits, too, but a) not as much and b) their hits are mostly clean. St. Louis' hits are often "clean hits" in the rules but shouldn't be. I just don't like the way they've been playing. At least it wasn't the Penguins lol.

Stop watching hockey if you have an issue with hitting.... Marchand low bridged one player and then took the knee out on another. Boston and clean hits should never be in the same sentence.

Marchand is the exception. I never said "I have an issue with hitting". I don't like the hits the Blues have been making. Yes, there have been some hits the Bruins made that I don't like, but seriously? Going after the guys you know are playing hurt? That's what STL has been doing. Like with Karlsson for example. That's not the way hockey should be played. You know EK65 is playing hurt, so you try to hurt him more. That's just stupid. I'm not Brian Burke lol.

I would have preferred seeing San Jose win the STL series.

I found in a behind the scenes video that Arizona and Buffalo were discussing a Ryan O'Reilly trade last year. Just imagine if that had happened instead.

Everyone does this. And if taking a hit in a contact sport is going to aggravate an injury you're carrying you shouldnt be out there.

I also dont feel like St Louis were targetting anyone so much as hitting everything that moved. And its a strategy that worked. I think its fantastic! Berube came in with an incredibly simple game plan and got everyone to buy in. From Tarasenkshow to Bortuzzo they all bought in and they played out one of the beat Stanley Cup stories we've seen in the last few years. Im a hockey fan first and a Tampa fam second. If you cant find enjoyment in the Blue's story this year have a look at yourself. Its an amazing story. An amazing run. On so many different levels.... it glori(a)ous :-P

I think it's a great story. I'm just saying I didn't like the way they were playing. They're a good hockey team though. And as much as I don't like what they did with EK65, he shouldn't have been playing game 5 of that series.
