Kakko #1

He's finish and he is the best player. People who watch Kakko say he is the best player in the draft. If he played in the US or Canada, he would be the consensus top pick

I like kakko better. I think he we be able to transition into the nhl well. I don’t see that for Hughes.

I would say they both become 1st line players. I just feel that Kakko is a franchise type player

Why does Montreal pick 18th if they are not in the playoffs? Doesn't make sense that playoff teams like Colorado pick before them ! I know they finished with more points but they should pick before!

Bob McKenzie’s article states differently. The 10 scouts he talked to had Hughes above Kakko. Small margin but they had Hughes ranked 1 and Kakko 2 and then a drop off to the next group. But I could see why this could be a question for MTL with Poehling Suzuki and KK.

I'd say the Canadiens would choose Kakko.
They boast a couple of solid Center prospects in Kotkaniemi and Poehling with a couple of weaker ones in the system, Jake Evans, Cam Hillis, Cole Caufield.

Kakko is versatile. He can be the next Aho. Can play all 3 forward positions, strong on the puck, not afraid to throw the body. Seems like a mixture of strength like Iginla, but has the speed and hands of Aho.

Lines would then become
Drouin-Domi-Kakko (Kakko could take Offensive Zone Faceoffs)
Tatar-Danault-Gallagher
Byron/Lehkonen-Kotkaniemi-Shaw (Shaw takes D Zone Faceoffs)
Hudon-Peca-Armia

Mete-Weber
FA LHD-Petry
FA LHD-Josh Brook

Price
Niemi/FA Backup

Hudon Peca LMAO Weal Byron on the 4th Lehkonen on the 3rd, Kulak stays, Juulsen > Brook right now & Benn might sign
